Yes, ShootFest 001 has finally done and over. I am glad that I have attended it. I met a lot of friends, some new some old. Of course not to left out is some twitter-pals. (Follow me here). During the two days I have learnt a lot from those sharing session. It benefits me not only as a photographer, but also as a person. I can not thank you enough for those who share, not forgetting Alex and Grace from Integricity who initiated this ShootFest.

There’s a wall for participant to have their photos printed in 4”X6” and showcase. There were more photos after that, I snapped this early on the first day. I got two up there, pretty obvious?

Two session going on concurrently. Some people wished they can split to attend both.

Zach Chin setup a ‘Crazy Photo Booth’ on the last day, so participant can have photos taken, crazily in a way. Some photos are deadly creative and fun! Check this out.

The two supermen, Jason and Ian wore same tee that day. Both jokers definitely brighten up ShootFest very much with them being themselves. Check out what I mean below.

I have no idea where the colors come from, I don’t remember there’s a green spot in church.

One really bad pano attempt here. Taken from Penang Hill. It was Av mode, so the very-smart camera took the metering on its own judgement. I couldn’t care much about it anyway. lol.

Next day, we went to another very famous temple in Penang, which I don’t know what it is actual name. In general, it is a big-laying-buddha temple

And so happened it was the Songkran. So people were splashing water, wiping white stuff onto each other face ( argh…)

The Khoo Kongsi! If you noticed, the most of the walls are spectacularly engraved with all those craftworks. Those effort, salutes. We, who living now in minimalist concept can never understand. lol.

I hope to get you some Cameron Highlands trip photos too. If I get the chance to, even look at it. Doesn’t mean it has misplaced somewhere, I am just lazy sometimes. Anyway, it is mostly flowers, flowers and flowers. Sometimes, vegetables, strawberries and FLOWERS again. That’s Cameron Highlands all has.

We went to lake garden, for there has a big children park. The kids can run around, having fun and forget about their mother (lol)… Sure they did really sweat all out and I having chasing them behind to  get them into my frame. I had to shoot 3 at a time, which is a difficult job. At most time, they were not together, all having they own place to go to. I then only realized I have been attaching to Ethan too much, when I got to review the photos. Maybe he is not as running much type. I can’t wait to see their album soon, by this week I hope!

Aren’t they cute? I hope to shoot more kids portraiture in the future. I love kids very much! (when they are not crying and rolling on the floor for nothing!) ;p

Few days back I had an enquiry which surprised me a little, it was an unofficial (formal) enquiry about a wedding in year 2010. “Perhaps you can call me back after some times, like September 2009?” This girl really plan well ahead, doesn’t she? 2010 is very far from now! Well, I know this ain’t super exciting thing for rock star photographers but I am not! Perhaps some must have said I should lock her down, get her to pay some retainer. I feel alright letting her go thou, because I probably getting higher pay after one year from now for the same thing! *claps*

Last week, C3 Worship was here for a One Night Only concert in City Harvest Church. The band is fabulous, rock solid contemporary Christian music! Even if one ain’t a Christian, the music alone is just fun to listen at! I have several shot during the concert, as usual being a photographer for my church. I was challenged every time, because the hall is terribly lit for photos sake! But is all good for otherwise. Let’s roll some photos…

So, after beating the jam, waiting the numbers of people and etc of unforseen circumstances, we have reach there happily and EARLY. haha. We go straight up to a tower where suppose to be highest point or so, to "look out". Indeed, is very nice scene. But bad haze! KL-what, if only it has not haze, that’s rare. So we did some snapping away, joking around, where light-ray was defined as Jesus Light. End time people, end time! lol. In my heart, Jesus come back then you know. haha. oOps.

Moving on. Then we settled down for FOOD! I was hungry! Sitted down and chating, while ordering and waiting for food. Then comes where everybody was waiting for, the sunset. But too bad, heavy clouds and haze, it wasn’t magnificent at all. So I did not take any photos of that. I was more anticipating for might skyline. I think i did grab some pretty nice one. *grin*

So Gary’s first ever solo concert is another 8 days away, I can’t wait! This promo tour is to further promote his concert, try to sell even more tickets, that’s how marketing works. So thanks to the organizer *tongue* for this promo tour so I may get to see him again as this close range. Remember, during concert you got no way to get up close to an artist, thou there always some exceptional case. Settle that, let’s have some photos.

arGhh… lucky her. If Sharon was there with me, we would have went up to take photo with him too! Whoever purchased the concert can get a poster and let Gary’s sign on it. (Thou I am not so ‘sign-please’ kinda people, I just fancy taking photos with celebrities. *tongue*)
