Why the post title? Eric and Mui Ling, both good friend of mine from my church. Right before the day of their wedding, my phone rang, a call from Eric. “How much do you charge for wedding?” I was like, “Huh, boss your wedding is tomorrow, as like less than 20 hours from now. Not next month!” Then we talked about it and eventually we both decided to work out together. I mean I work for him. That’s why, the hurry.
I really had to nail things down real quick because things happened and I don’t really know. Holy matrimony and dinner reception were so close to each other, that I had to skip the same day slideshow too. I feel bad about that.
Here are some of the shots that I got that day.
Looking at this, I think I really need a macro filter. Just so you know, the blackie on the ring, is yours truly. I went so near the ring for this shot. lol… DCIM 2009 is here, let’s see if I could get some good deal.

I love my new LED flash light (aka torch, not the camera speedlite). It is so small and so bright that could blind my eyes, really. Why flash is mentioned here? Below photo, I had the flash positioned behind the shoes and, WB to tungsten. If you don’t understand, is ok. Those are for the techie person. hehe…
In daddy’s eyes.

Over at Facebook, Mui Ling’s brother, WIlson said, “I am like chauffeur!”
I do not know, I somehow like this very much. What do you think?
Eric was waiting inside the church auditorium.

Here comes the bride, he says.

Mui Ling’s parent response to Pastor speech. It was hilarious.
We had a quick session before calling off the first part of the day.

Crack up a little.
The tea ceremony was held the next day. Warm and fun session.

Here I wish Eric and Mui Ling, bless marriage life. The fairy tale starts now!
This time round, I was shooting for 1AvenuePhotography. Early in the morning when I woke up, the sky started pouring rain. It made my mood turn up side down. I just hate getting wet, if only I will stay inside the house and continue sleeping at 06:30! After awhile the rain getting little and I was praying it to stop.
I reach at bride’s place pretty early, because the guests from outstation who staying in there were still sleeping. I started to snap right away, and talk a little getting to know the bride, Siaw Hui… then I found out she will not be wearing the actual wedding dress when the groom come to her place, she will change when going to church. By the way, bride and groom were on their separate way to church. She just to surprise him! She is playful, in a way… :)
Here’s some photos for the feast of eyes… hehe

This ain’t the groom, Kenneth. He’s one of the guest. He must has so much in his mind at that time.

The men talk!
“Come on my boy, let daddy help you this…”
Some little wedding favor.
She’s Siaw Hui’s sister. She really likes to take photos! :) Here she trying on maybe-macro shoot on the ring.
The love…
The Contract being written… One WHOLE roll of tissue paper. Whether is Cuttie Compact? I ain’t know. ;p Basically is lines of word telling groom to treat his wife not just good, but be really good (sometime self-torture. LOL)
Siaw Hui’s cheongsam, has the touch of elegant and simplicity.
Here come the guys!
What else if he’s not shouting “I LOVE YOU!” ?
and she’s happy too.
The mama and daughter…
Did I say Siaw Hui is playful? haha…
I am not sure what they did, it just happened…
This was quite random, not directed. Somehow I like the people arrangement here.
Attraction of the day… Siaw Hui was sitting right in the lobby of main entrance, enjoying herself
I like the long veil…
I think is a nice dress!
Last one to end this post.
Wish Kenneth and Siaw Hui, happily ever after!
I shot their engagement session back in October. This wedding should be among the largest reception congregation I have ever photograph. It is 108 table, that’s more than a thousand people. Running from one corner to the other is not easy!
The ‘compulsory’ one
Leading to the ‘warzone’…
Everybody is required to check their own table number, to get organize. Are they look like checking out exam result on result day? ;p
Have a clown to cater the kids too!
This little girl, Ying, likes to snap around with the SLR. Reminds me of Jasmine Diep of Hong Kong, youngest professional photographer in the world, at age of 4.
Most responded photos over my Facebook album. These people are organizing a session to shoot a similar photo!
