The long awaited Canon EOS 40D

It is announced, at last. Been waiting for long, thou the expected date of announcement was quite accurate. This time, 40D is ‘breakthru’, not the upgrade version of previous model.

The key features are very impressive, to me:
- 6.5fps
- LiveView
- ECS
- New AF
- DIGIC III
- 3.0″ LCD
- EOS 1 menu
- 0.95x viewfinder
- New Wireless Transmitter, act as vertical grip too!
- 14 Bit A/D Conversion
- In camera flash configuration
- etc…

Is yet to announce for the local price. I shall wait and see. Very promising, from the fact sheet.
