Louis Pang Wedding Photography Talk
April 11th, 2008 at 11:20

ClickGoLive Center being so helpful to organize this short talk by Louis Pang, who actually on his way to Penang for his actual Workshop. I was rushing all the way to DU from KL, as it is, always traffic jam. And the ever wonderful Malaysia public transport system, ‘rush’ the lifestyle.

So I got into the center, it was packed, almost full. I didn’t expect there’s such response. As Louis says, the market is huge, but the competition is equally great. Well, that’s what I believe always.

The session started off rather abit off schedule, but not too late. But it sure ended way far too behind. Well, a good session suppose to end very late. That’s why. Anyway, thru out the session, I have learnt a lot. I get to know the further in depth of some aspects to be a photographer, wedding photographer to be specific. Well, I am quite sure it will turn the way I work, for better change of course. At least I should try to embark with people, the interaction.

“Every other artist begins with a blank canvas, a piece of paper. The photographer begins with the finished product.” – Edward Steichen.

“A huge camera doesn’t make you to be a 3 times better photographer, unless you get a D3″ – Louis Pang. -,-”

Well, when your in this kind of business. You really need to put in mind that your not only the one doing this. It’s a competition and sometimes you lose in a competition. So accept what it is as long as your doing well. Nice post. :D
